We measure traffic. We do not identify people.
This website uses no tracking cookies and stores no IP addresses. It does not send visitor analytics data to third-party analytics or advertising services. It saves only your chosen language on your device. Below we describe visitor analytics and, separately, the internal management of our own Pinterest account.
Effective from: 30 October 2026
Who processes the data
The controller is the company named in the legal notice. You will find the full company details there, along with the contact address for anything on this page.
What a visit records
Measurement runs on our own tool on our own server. Nothing is sent anywhere else.
| Value | What it is for |
|---|---|
| The page visited (path without parameters) | so we know which content works and which does not |
| The domain you arrived from | so we know whether people find us through search or a link |
| Browser, operating system and device type — broad category only | so the site works on what people actually use |
| Country code, if the network in front of our server supplies one | to split traffic across language versions; often left empty |
| A daily anonymous fingerprint of the visit | to tell a new visit apart from a page reload |
The daily fingerprint is produced by a one-way function from a salt that changes every day. It cannot be turned back into an IP address or a device, and after midnight the same visitor is already a different fingerprint. It is therefore not an identifier that follows you over time.
Your IP address and full browser string are processed only at the moment of the request — they feed the daily fingerprint and the protection against server flooding. They are never written to the database and cease to exist once the request is handled.
If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, nothing is recorded at all. Traffic from bots and crawlers is not counted as traffic. Attempts to scan addresses that do not exist on this site are logged separately for security — without an IP address and without a visit fingerprint, only the requested address and a coarse agent name.
What we do not do
- we use no tracking cookies — the only one we store remembers your language
- we do not store IP addresses
- we use no Google Analytics or any other third-party tool
- there are no advertising, social or tracking scripts on this site
- we build no profiles and make no automated decisions
- we neither sell nor trade data
Legal basis
We measure traffic on the basis of legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). That interest is knowing whether the site serves its purpose and keeping it running safely.
We kept the intrusion at the minimum that still makes sense: no tracking cookies, no stored IP address and no identifier that survives a single day. If you write to us, we process your address and the content of your message so that we can reply and keep a record of what was agreed.
Who receives the data
Visitor analytics data is accessible only to our hosting provider, which operates our server and database as a processor. It also processes technical server logs needed for operation and security. We do not send visitor analytics data to Pinterest or other advertising or analytics services. The separate transfer of content for our own business account is described in the Pinterest integration section.

How long we keep it
Analytics records are deleted automatically after 24 months. Sooner, if they stop being useful before that. E-mail correspondence is kept for as long as the reason it came about lasts, or for as long as the law requires.
Internal Pinterest management — RedBlue Velin
RedBlue Velin is a private tool for managing content for our own Pinterest business account, @Redblue_sk. The first stage is limited to authorized administrators of our company and uses Trial/Sandbox only. Public publishing and automated Pinterest publishing are blocked in this stage.
After authorization, the tool verifies our account username and reads identifiers and names of its Sandbox boards. It also processes the image, title, description and destination link prepared by an administrator. It does not collect Pinterest passwords or session cookies. The access token is held only in protected server configuration, never in the management form or content database.
Content is sent to Pinterest only after an administrator explicitly confirms a test. Our records contain prepared content, the time and outcome of the attempt and the identifier returned by Pinterest. They support test review and protection against unintended repeats. The tool is not offered to external customers; access is restricted to authorized administrators and the hosting provider as needed for operation.
Prepared content and test history are kept until removed by an administrator; the automatic 24-month retention of analytics events does not apply to them. A token can be revoked in Pinterest app management and removed from server configuration. Revoking a token does not itself delete content already sent to Pinterest. You can request deletion of data in our own records using the contact below.
The integration does not send data about redblue.sk visitors to Pinterest and adds no Pinterest Tag, social scripts or tracking cookies. We do not use data obtained through the Pinterest API to train AI models or for advertising. Pinterest also processes received content and technical data under its own policies, including its international transfer policies, linked below.

Your rights
Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights towards us:
- Access — to know whether and what data we process about you (Art. 15)
- Rectification — to have incorrect data corrected or completed (Art. 16)
- Erasure — to request that data be deleted (Art. 17)
- Restriction — to request that we temporarily stop using the data (Art. 18)
- Portability — to receive the data in a machine-readable form (Art. 20)
- Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
For traffic measurement we store nothing that would let us find you — we hold no IP address and no persistent identifier. We therefore cannot tell which row in the statistics is yours. That is not a refusal of your rights but a consequence of the data being anonymised (Art. 11 GDPR). The rights apply in full to any correspondence you have with us.
If you believe we handle data improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
